Thinking about quitting smoking but not sure where to start? People across South Yorkshire are sharing their stories to show that a smokefree life is within reach. Their experiences prove that quitting is possible, and you don’t have to do it alone.

About the Campaign

Giving up smoking isn’t always straightforward and often people make many attempts to stop before quitting for good. It is completely normal to feel unsure about taking that first step.

The ‘It Worked For Me, It Could Work For You’ campaign is breaking down barriers by sharing real-life journeys of local people across Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham, and Sheffield, along with information on what stop smoking services actually offer. We want to show the reality of quitting and accessing support.

Our community stop smoking services are friendly, welcoming, non-judgemental and provide support that is tailored to what works for you and at a time that suits you.

You are three times more likely to quit smoking for good with the right support behind you.
